52 Week Project – Week 20 – Mothers – Raleigh Family Photography

Sunday, May 13th, 2012

This week’s theme – Mothers.

One of my favorite times of the day is when Owen wakes up from his nap. He is so happy and just loves playing with his letters puzzle and his puppy. This puzzle is one of his absolutely favorite toys – he knows every letter of the alphabet and is content identifying the letters and their sounds and then figuring out the puzzle.  I have been meaning to capture this sweet time in the afternoon and finally picked up the camera. I am almost never in pictures with Owen simply because it is usually just me and him when I am taking pictures. Thankful that Michael captured this sweet moment. Truly a special Mother’s day gift – a memory with my son.

Don’t forget to capture your favorite times of the day – and don’t forget to get in the picture every once in a while! Happy Mother’s Day!

Just Like His Daddy – Child Photographer, Wake Forest, N.C.

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

Oh, he is just like his daddy in so many ways. It is my favorite to see the two of them together laughing, chasing each other around the house,  playing their one, two, three, KABOOM game. If he wakes up after Michael has gone to work, he is searching all over the house, “Where’s daddy? Where’ d he go?” As soon as he hears the garage door in the evenings, he is running to the back door screaming. It is possibly the cutest thing in the world when he says, “Oh Daddy!”

Owen in his daddy’s easter outfit – sitting in his daddy’s rocking chair. These were taken at Owen’s grandparents house in Hickory. Beautiful light and beautiful trees! I think I just love all of these!

Raleigh Newborn, Child, and Family Photography – Owen

It was a little chilly but Owen and I headed out to the park yesterday.  I just love these pictures. They make me smile :) Just wanted to share a few – he is growing up so fast!

I can’t believe he kept his hat on the whole time he was playing.

He just loves the sandbox and trucks, too! Instead of using a shovel, he just picked up sand with his hands and

threw it in the back of the truck.
