I can’t believe it’s already been a year since his one year portraits! Tyler is just too precious and just spent the entire session hugging and kissing his mom and dad. Of course, we did take some time for his favorite hobbies such as golf and bubbles. (He was too adorable with the golf clubs! I am going to have to go get some for Owen!) He also has some exciting news – he is going to be a big brother in September! Can’t wait to take pictures of his baby brother!
This sweet family is waiting to find out if they are having a boy or a girl! Only a few more weeks left and Noah will find out if he is going to have a little brother or sister. This session was at Pullen Park, and the light was just beautiful. Noah just loved the boats and the carousel. It is such fun place, and we ended our session with a locopop from Pullen Place.

What a beautiful day for a session! Liam had such a great time throwing the football and running around barefoot. It was a perfect day to be outside, and we were able to capture some sweet memories before this family of three becomes a family of four. Can’t wait to meet their little girl on the way in just a few weeks!

This was such a sweet session – celebrating the little sister that will be born in just a few short weeks.We chatted about gold doubloons and picked some wildflowers. One of the things I love about this session is that we took the pictures at the end of the day near sunset. Early in the morning and late in the evening just has the prettiest light and is the best time for pictures. Looking forward to taking pictures of their baby sister after her arrival!

Matt and Jen waited to announce in pictures that Ben is going to have a little brother! Our original date was snowed out so they had to wait four more days to share the news! It was absolutely gorgeous out the day of the session! You might remember Ben from his 18 month pictures! Such a handsome little man and soon he will have a little brother to play with!
These were taken outside Sweetie’s Candy Shop in Wake Forest. Once we saw the bubbles, we had to stop! Such a cute place – I am going to have to take my little one soon!

These two are waiting on a super special cowboy! Can’t wait to meet him! The weather was absolutely beautiful the day of this session, and I can’t believe it snowed the next day. We started our session at the park and then headed downtown for some urban shots. Downtown Wake Forest is special to Su-Anne because she used to work close by so the location was perfect! Congrats to Patrick and Alex! When we first took their announcement photos, they were still waiting to find out if their little one was going to be a boy or a girl.So excited for them! I love these pictures because they capture the emotions the moment they found out they are going to have a little girl!

2011 has been such a great year! My little guy turned one this year – what a blessing he is!
I started this business and I have just learned so much!

What was your favorite image from 2011?
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are going to have a little one in July! So excited to announce the big news! We had so much fun taking these pictures, and Alex is just glowing! I have enjoyed seeing Alex’s ideas for the nursery – it is going to be so cute! This little one is going to be spoiled with love for sure!
