My hope is that your newborn portraits are a sweet memory. That is one thing that I love about having sessions on location – that you will look back in twenty years and remember your house, your backyard – where you lived during this season of your life. I love when the lighting is beautiful for portraits in the nursery because it will be redecorated in a year or so but you have the portraits to remember this sweet time. Remember these two? They love their baby sister so much and just loved hugging and kissing her during the session.

A Sweet Memory – Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer
Wednesday, May 30th, 2012Ava Katherine – Raleigh and Greensboro Newborn Photographer
Tuesday, May 29th, 2012Little Ava Katherine is such a beauty and what a blessing to her family. She was so calm and content during her newborn session, and we were able to capture some beautiful pictures of this little one. We took the pictures in her grandparents’ beautiful yard. The flowers and plants were a perfect backdrop!

Hugs and Kisses – Raleigh Child Photography
Monday, May 21st, 2012I can’t believe it’s already been a year since his one year portraits! Tyler is just too precious and just spent the entire session hugging and kissing his mom and dad. Of course, we did take some time for his favorite hobbies such as golf and bubbles. (He was too adorable with the golf clubs! I am going to have to go get some for Owen!) He also has some exciting news – he is going to be a big brother in September! Can’t wait to take pictures of his baby brother!
Spring Mini Sessions – Greensboro Family Photography
Friday, May 18th, 2012This was another picture playdate organized by my friend Allison of ALM Designs. (She just designed Owen’s 2nd birthday shirt and I am so excited to get it! She has a sneak peak of his birthday shirt on her Facebook page!) The mini sessions were a lot of fun and the weather held out until the last minute of our last session! Then, it started to rain! Allison brought a super cute tricycle that was a big hit with all of the little ones! We took these at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden. (Send me an e-mail if you’re interested in hosting a portrait playdate – mini session pricing and the hostess gets a discount – rebeccakellerphotography@gmail.com) Mini sessions are shorter than a regular session (around 30 minutes) and include 5-7 or more pictures of your little one.
Surprise – Maternity Photographer, Raleigh, N.C.
Tuesday, May 8th, 2012This sweet family is waiting to find out if they are having a boy or a girl! Only a few more weeks left and Noah will find out if he is going to have a little brother or sister. This session was at Pullen Park, and the light was just beautiful. Noah just loved the boats and the carousel. It is such fun place, and we ended our session with a locopop from Pullen Place.

Beautiful Day – Chapel Hill Maternity Portraits
Friday, April 27th, 2012What a beautiful day for a session! Liam had such a great time throwing the football and running around barefoot. It was a perfect day to be outside, and we were able to capture some sweet memories before this family of three becomes a family of four. Can’t wait to meet their little girl on the way in just a few weeks!

Happy Family – Greensboro Family Photography
Wednesday, April 25th, 2012I really enjoyed taking pictures of this sweet family! All four little ones were just too sweet. We took these at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden in Greensboro. There is a beautiful creek right near the entrance that was a hit with the kids! They had so much fun splashing and playing. We definitely got some smiles!

Claire Elizabeth – Raleigh Newborn Photographer
Friday, April 20th, 2012Little Claire is just beautiful and so loved. I know her big brothers are going to take such good care of her. They love her so much and wanted to kiss and hug her and show her off while I was there. Little Claire was just so content and happy during the session. Such a beautiful baby!
There are so many that I love from this session but this one is definitely a favorite.
Coming Soon – Raleigh Maternity Photographer
Tuesday, April 17th, 2012This was such a sweet session – celebrating the little sister that will be born in just a few short weeks. We chatted about gold doubloons and picked some wildflowers. One of the things I love about this session is that we took the pictures at the end of the day near sunset. Early in the morning and late in the evening just has the prettiest light and is the best time for pictures. Looking forward to taking pictures of their baby sister after her arrival!
