2011 has been such a great year! My little guy turned one this year – what a blessing he is!
I started this business and I have just learned so much!
I have made so many great friends this year, and I am truly thankful for all of you!

It was a little chilly but Owen and I headed out to the park yesterday. I just love these pictures. They make me smile 
Just wanted to share a few – he is growing up so fast!
I can’t believe he kept his hat on the whole time he was playing.
He just loves the sandbox and trucks, too! Instead of using a shovel, he just picked up sand with his hands and
threw it in the back of the truck.

I just had to share my little guy’s Christmas pictures. What is his most favorite thing in the world right now? TRAINS. Boy, does he love trains! Don’t even think about trying to take him away from a train table. You will definitely hear all about it. He opened a train first on Christmas morning and was perfectly happy – we didn’t even need to get him anything else I get asked all the time how I get such great pictures of him – it is very difficult to get an 18 month old to stop running, look up, and even look at the camera. At this age, I am really lucky if I get him to stop running and look up.(It is usually for a second – then back to running again – so I better be ready to take the picture!) These pictures were taken at Joyner Park – it was just Owen, myself, and the camera. I just waited for people who were walking their dogs. I am thankful for the many people at the park and in my neighborhood who help me with my photo sessions simply by bringing their dog nearby! They are a sure hit with Owen. I have a neighbor who has seen me out taking pictures in our yard and is always so wonderful to bring her dogs by. So there is my secret – how I get great pictures of Owen!
How cute is his red sweater? I just love it!
This little one was so super sweet! You could just see his little personality! He was fascinated with what was going on around him and was really interested in what the camera clicking noise was all about! Such a cutie!
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are going to have a little one in July! So excited to announce the big news! We had so much fun taking these pictures, and Alex is just glowing! I have enjoyed seeing Alex’s ideas for the nursery – it is going to be so cute! This little one is going to be spoiled with love for sure!

How sweet is this little one?I took Evan’s nine month photos and I knew this little guy would be as happy as can be for his pictures. He smiled and laughed the entire time! Happy first birthday, Evan!
